I already have an ED70 which I purchased in Geralton WA approx 2008 which has been an impressive purchase. Only issue was a cooling fan failure after 10 years, which may have happened again recently... which I'll sort out being an Electrician. Normal wear and tear. Absolutely no complaints! My new EvaKool 47L Down Under? Needed a smaller one for work. It is working fine. Cools down rapidly on demand. Why did I buy another EvaKool? Quality and mainly Australian made.
Great service fridge arrived in 2 days l set it up in my Isuzu dmax and it works fantastic easy controls to use great fridge good warranty fridge runing 24/7 wll worth the price thankyou.

does what it is supposed to do,sealing is excellent
I have always used Evakool, and they have allways been completely reliable. So when I decided to replace my old fridge /freezers for a planned trip around Australia there was never any doubt that I wanted the latest Evakool to keep my food in. Evakool - simply the best.
The 95 litre dual zone Downunder by Evakool is feature packed with flexibility and a wonderful danfoss compressor.
Either compartment/bin can be used as a freezer or refrigerator. The adjustment of the temperature is a simple and effective procedure with an easily accessible control panel.
The Danfoss compressor is quiet and efficent and sips gently from the auxiliary battery ensuring long battery' life whilst off grid.
The best back up to my fridge is available from its Australian manufacturer.
In short it's a great Australian made frig with full local back up and service if ever required..
Well made fridge, love how is aussi made, i hope that you guys go gangbusters! Love it.
Very happy so far. Got it on a great deal and it performed well on its maiden run. The only issue I had was needing to run it on 240v to get up to temperature as starting off 12v caused the compressor to cut off due to insufficient voltage. After that though, I had no issues ruuning it off 12v for the remainder of the weekend we had away. Temperatures seemed to be pretty well on the mark over the whole weekend. Power draw was also good. ie. as advertised - around the 2ah per hour mark.
Poor fitting lids that don’t seal and doesn’t cool to temperatures as specified
